A month ago now I was contacted to become a paid food critic for the website Pyrmont Village. To kick off my first real journalism gig, I visited a restaurant and cafe in Pyrmont (and have since struggled with my write-ups). But alas, I finished fiddling around with my first article yesterday and it is now up on the site for viewing. Read my first piece of paid work.
Oh, and please excuse the poor quality photos. My HTC - which I use to take most of my photos - produces terrible quality images in poor lighting and, of course, such was the case for my first proper food review. I'm planning to buy a Digital SLR camera in the post-Christmas sales. If you have any recommendations feel free to share.
